this is not a test

this is not a test

it’s 3:15
and this small town
is sound asleep
and screaming

the clouds
are upsidedown
and rowing

I’m calling
out your name
not knowing

     you. won’t. stop.

rocking
on the porch
you’re hypnotized

insideout
and twisting
in the tortured sky

limber branches bend
crying to blow higher
through a night

        you won’t remember

though I told you
I can’t stomach
the timbre sound

of snapping limb’s
surrender

    Christi,
Saying that i am impressed would not do this write justice. I am blown away. The time 3:15 has significance in my life as well.
Could feel all of the emotion…deep to the soul!

Oooh, love this, sis. I can’t believe I wasn’t following you. I am now. :o)

  3. This version, compared to the one posted earlier on Facebook, shows how intelligently you’ve approached the editing. It is so much more than it was, which is what is wanted. And it has a perfect title now.

difficult for me to swallow….but I have open eyes
